Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie Launched

Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie had its movie launch today. Ram Charan and his mother Surekha Konidela have launched The Konidela Production which is their in-house brand at their new office. Chiranjeevi as Kathilantodu will be the first movie under this venture. Chiranjeevi’s Kathilantodu will be directed by V.V Vinayak, Cinematography by Rathnavelu and the film industry’s Rock Star DSP with the music for Kathilantodu. Chiranjeevi as Kathilantodu will be a remake of Tamil super hit Kathi. Chiranjeevi;s film is to be produced by Ram Charan and will be co-produced by Lyca Productions.

The film is aimed to be a Pongal 2017 release.

Ally Arvind powered the project during the first shot which was directed by Naga Babu. Chiranjeevi’s new film Kathilantodu shoot began with Paruchuri Venkateshwara Garu clapping the first Shot. As per the sources, Chiranjeevi will be playing a dual role in this upcoming movie. The female lead and remaining cast yet to be finalized. As per reports, that Nayanthara had been approached to play the female lead role in this film.

Kathilantodu Movie Launch:

Chiranjeevi’s new film Kathilantodu was launched at a private event which was held at Konidela Production Company’s office. The launch was fully packed with big names like Allu Arjun, Naga babu, Allu Arjun, Koratala Siva, Sharath Marar, DVV Danayya, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Gemini Kiran, Thirupathi Prasad, Paruchuri Venkateshwara and close family members. The regular shooting will begin in June as per the close reports. The story deals with the farmers and the powerful media, politicians and businessmen. How a petty thief takes on the powerful establishment forms the crux of the story.
