A Florida man has filed a lawsuit against the company after his Note7 smartphone exploded in his pocket and resulted in severe burns on his right thigh. A Samsung spokesperson said that the company was aware of the lawsuit but that it doesn’t want to comment on it. The lawsuit seeks damages in excess of $15,000.
A few different instances of Samsung Note7 blasts as an aftereffect of battery imperfection have been accounted for in the previous two weeks. Subsequent to seeing the various disappointments of Note7, the U.S. Customer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has requested the organization to authoritatively review every one of the gadgets. Almost a million Samsung Galaxy Note7 gadgets were sold in the US and the review applies just to those cell phones sold before September 15. According to the estimation, 97 percent of the sold gadgets contain the deficient battery.
